We love playing for students!

The Cutting Edge Ceilidh Band offers a special rate for all student bookings. We will always try and meet whatever budget you have to work with, especially for mid-week events, please ask. 

We are as comfortable playing black-tie events as funky student union ceilidhs and will dress accordingly. 

All ceilidh dances are expertly called by our keyboard player and six-time world highland dancing champion Deryck Mitchelson in his own fun style, making even the harder dances such as the Eightsome Reel easy and fun for everyone.
